HighlandHost.net re-launched

Mark and Pat Goddard have been running HighlandHost.net, the internet arm of Spartan Press since January 2002 but it is only since the arrival of our dedicated computer expert, Tom Pike, in September 2003 that the web hosting and design side of Spartan has really taken off.

The old black design has gone, and a new fresh look accompanies some big structural improvements. Much more information is on hand: news, articles and features that are all database driven from our server at Strathmashie House. The site is powered by the scripting language PHP, and the new site is cleverly enhanced by optional cascading style sheets to cope with both the vagaries of Microsoft's Internet Explorer while still allowing the user to enjoy some of the superior qualities of browsers like Mozilla Firefox and Opera. To complete the new look we can exhibit our newly commissioned logo.

One new facility just launched is the ability (for existing customers) to log-in and view their site statistics, usage levels and configurations confidentially using current FTP username and password.

We hope you enjoy the new site, which we will continue to develop over the next few months.
