Best Print Resource Award Nomination

Mark Tanner's "Scapes" Series was shortlisted for the Best Print Resource Award at the 2015 Music Teacher Awards for Excellence, sponsored by Rhinegold Publishing Ltd.

Best Print Resource Award Finalists were:

  • Scapes series (Mark Tanner, Spartan Press)
  • Micromusicals (Christopher Norton, Boosey & Hawkes)
  • Listening Lab (Universal Edition)
  • Debut series (James Rae, Universal Edition)
  • Simultaneous Learning (Paul Harris, Faber Music)

The winners, Listening Lab (Universal Edition), were announced on the evening of 12 March 2015 at The Grange St Paul’s. The evening featured a champagne reception, three-course meal, live music and the awards ceremony. It was unfortunate that Spartan directors Mark and Pat Goddard where on holiday in New Zealand at the time of the event, and not only that, but featured composer Mark Tanner was also away, on a concert tour in Australia. So many thanks go to fifteen year old Rose Goddard who travelled alone to London from the Dance School of Scotland in Glasgow to attend the event, ably chaperoned on the night by London based Ian Flint, Spartan's redoubtable man of mystery.
