Reviews

The books have glossy and colourful covers and also come with CD recordings of well-played performances and backing tracks. There is a sense of humour implied in these books, which comes through both in the light-hearted compositional style of the pieces and in the amusing titles of the pieces...Occasional quotes from well-known pieces will perhaps make the music even more accessible to young players and, as a package, it is clear that careful consideration has gone into the marketing, presentation and composition of these pieces...The musical material itself is good, and suitable for its intended educational purpose, with variety between the pieces and a sense of character. I can imagine young players enjoying them.
